After attending the University of Florida, I worked for a number of years in the building trade and in later years as a bioengineering technician. A few years ago, I decided to take an early retirement to pursue my long term interest in alternative and renewable energy, which can also help reduce our dependence on foreign oil.

Several years ago, I built my current home patterened after Bucky Fuller's geodesic domes and have been living in it for over 20 years. I use solar to heat water and hope to incorporate photovoltaic panels to generate electricity in the near future. This structure, pictured above, can be further explored at floridadomes.com.
