After attending the University of Florida, I worked for a number of years in the building trade and in
later years as a bioengineering technician. A few years ago, I decided to take an early retirement to pursue
my long term interest in alternative and renewable
energy, which can also help reduce our dependence on foreign oil.
Several years ago, I built my current home patterened after Bucky Fuller's geodesic domes and have been
living in it for over 20 years. I use solar to heat water and hope to incorporate
photovoltaic panels to generate electricity in the near future. This structure, pictured above, can be
further explored at floridadomes.com.
On the basis of my long term philosophy of "green living," I built this web-site to help educate the public
about solar energy and its advantages plus became a distributor for several lines that I've found reliable.
Take a look at our offerings
and you also may become a "solar convert," also.
